Meet Me Monday: Nestor

On Monday afternoons we will be interviewing a member of the Stratigent team so you can get to know us a little better. This week, please welcome Nestor, Sr Consultant and Team Lead at Stratigent.

Q:What drew you to Stratigent?

A friend, who I was studying with at the library, invited me to go to the next building to grab a free dinner. Both of us stayed for the duration of Stratigent's information session, during which I signed up for an interview. I had an interview the next day with Bill, and he assured me of a follow-up onsite interview at Stratigent HQ. I talked to Josh and other members of the team on my visit and was delighted to receive an offer weeks later. I accepted the offer and the rest was history.

Q:Have you ever tried to explain to your friends what you do for a job and they just stare back blankly?

Yes. That, or they ask this very popular follow-up question: “So, you create websites?”

Q:Would you rather be able to whisper or ony be able to shout?

I'd rather be able to shout. Whispering won't help when getting chased by a bear.

Q:If you had to eliminate one thing in your life, what would it be?

Clutter, in general. I used to buy things not due to necessity but because they were at a bargain. I have moved away from that mindset and am determined to get rid of a lot of non-essentials. As they say, “That which you hold, holds you.”
